Looking to customize the rubric/assessment scale used for your achievement standards? Here’s how to do it.
There are a few things to keep in mind:
This feature is only available for school plans.
Rubric labels are always set at the category level. That way, any achievement standard attached to a category will be able to follow the same rubric structure.
You can add up to 8 custom levels to a rubric.
From your school admin dashboard, click Achievement > Categories & Rubric Levels in the side nav. Then click the edit icon (pencil) to the right of the category you want to edit rubric levels for.
Note: If you are a school administrator but are unable to see your admin dashboard, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll get you set up.
If you do not have any editable categories, create a new one by clicking “Add Category”.
Once you’re in the edit view, make sure “Use Default Labels?” is unchecked. Once it is unchecked, you will be able to see blank boxes for adding custom labels. Type in your assessment levels.
To add another label, click the plus button. You can add up to 8 custom levels for assessment.
To remove a label, click the ‘x’ button below the element you want to remove.
